As part of our advanced and regatta courses, we have the custom of visiting local regattas and, in practice, demonstrating what we have learned in the regatta field. The excitement of the regatta, the starting procedure, the fight for the position, and at the end victory or defeat leaves no one indifferent. There's a saying that reads - '' to sail is necessary; to live is not '', or as our friends from PIJK Hijena says '' to sail isn’t necessary, but is cool ''. Sailing is the only sport which combines vacation, entertainment, travel, meeting new people, places and traditions, improves health and physical activity and maximize the usefulness of acquired knowledge and skills which can be helpful in everyday life.
