Kakan is the dalmatian island located near Šibenik, western of the island Žirje. The island is uninhabited, except in the summer when it's visited by tourists in search of peace and relaxation. Kakan is overgrown with bushes and grass, and inhabitants from neighboring islands grow olives and grapes there.

This unique fairy-tale island attracts many adventurous tourists who want to experience the charm of Robinson tourism. On the northwest side of the island lies a bay Tratica, where there is a restaurant in which you can try traditional dishes of the region.

Kakan is unavoidable destination for boaters who sail in the Šibenik archipelago and find anchorage in Borovnjaci bay for their yachts, catamarans and sailboats. On the southwest side of the island is located lighthouse, attractive for tourists.
