French Beneteau presented at Cannes Boat Show 2017 the 7th sailing yacht from the well-known Oceanis line, Oceanis 51.1, with the already well-known Oceanis design signed by the Berret-Racocupeau studio and interior of Nauta Design. Oceanis 51.1 replaces the previous model Oceanis 48, with several new innovative solutions. The specialty of this sailing yacht is a new stepped hull that, besides the aesthetic function, creates an extra space for the interior.
In the standard version, Oceanis 51.1 comes with self-tacking jib and in-mast furling for the mainsail. Halyards and sheets were brought to the skipper position, while mainsheet is attached to the arch. Spinlock stoppers control the lines on each side of the cockpit, and the winches are placed even closer to the steering wheels. The exterior is generous and fun, with two deck chairs for relaxing and sunbathing, a wide platform for swimming and outdoor grill. At the center of the cockpit is a large modular table with two comfortable corner benches made of quality materials.
The interior is beautiful, designed with the help of professional interior designers, to suit every need. Thanks to the large hull portholes, the interior is bright and airy, affect pleasingly and creates a home atmosphere. The U-shaped galley is well equipped, with plenty of storage and cooking space. Place for enjoying and sitting in the salon will not be missed. There is a large corner set with elegant wooden table, and navigation station with L – shaped sofa. Oceanis 51.1 is available in versions with 3 cabins / 3 toilets, 3 cabins / 2 toilets, 4 cabins / 4 toilets and 5 cabins / 3 toilets.
