New school sailboat - Archambault Grand Surprise

At the end of 2019, we decided to replace our beloved Beneteau Platu 25 schoolboat for a slightly larger sailboat that accommodates more people, has toilet, instruments and navigation lights, and an inboard engine so we can go for night navigation and offshore sailing.

After a long search we found a boat that impressed us with its performance, appearance, equipment ... it was mostly love at first sight, and it also met all the criteria - meet our new school boat Archambault Grand Surprise.

Archambault Grand Surprise is one design boat built and designed for school and racing, competitive sailing, the Archambault Shipyard is located on the North Sea, that is, in the Bay of Biscay where there are often difficult navigation conditions.Because of this, this boat is built and great for offshore and inshore sailing, so we will be able to organize some new offshore courses and be able to go to regattas that we have not been able to do with a smaller boat so far.

Why is this one of the best sailing boat for a sailing school? The answer is simple: On an Archambault Grand Surprise you can explore all the possibilities of sailing without restrictions, learn how to select and change sails very quickly, easily and reliably learn to sail with "big" sails used for sailing downwind - spinnaker and genaker, and the special advantage is that any changes to the sail trim can be easily explained and learned due to the very nice shape of the laminated sails that are tailored for maximum efficiency. Also, this boat is very fast and competitive, so you can often find yourself in the first group of fastest boats in racing courses.

Let us know if you'd like to learn sailing in courses we organize throughout the year or if you would like to participate in regattas with our boat.
