Elan, known Slovenian nautical company, presented in 2013 a magnificent sailing yacht of 49 feet, Elan Impression 494. This impressive boat has the largest cockpit in its class, as well as other solutions which are otherwise characteristic of mega yachts.
In the standard version, Elan Impression 494 comes with self – tacking jib, which is new for Elan yachts. Mast and mainsail sheets are brought to the cockpit and attached to winches. The cockpit, as the largest in its class, has two steering wheels and functional navigation equipment. Maximum comfort is achieved through sunbathing area on the foredeck, a folding table and benches that makes U – shaped dinette for large numbers of people. Electric water stern platform makes access to the shore easier and faster.
The interior is spacious and bright, thanks to the elevated wheelhouse and numerous glass walls and windows. In the lounge there is a large table with U-shaped settee and two chairs. The galley is located on the lower level, just behind the salon settee. There is also a functional navigation station. Elan Impression 494 offers several options of interior layout up to 5 cabins and 3 bathrooms.
