Hull of Hanse 505 is built of vinyl ester resins, while the deck is performed in a sandwich. All ropes and sheets are enforced to the skipper's position, so that self-tacking jib and mainsail are very easy to operate. Hanse 505 has a spacious and clean deck which allows safely move around because all the ropes and cables are swiped underneath. The cockpit is also neat, not cluttered, provides more comfortable and easier navigation. Two steering wheels provide excellent visibility and maneuverability when sailing up and down the wind. On the inevitable large swim platform are integrated two foldable seats for the skipper. There is a large wooden table with folding sides and storage space.
Interior of Hanse 505 is a modern and carefully decorated to the smallest details. Hanse 505 has even 19 hatches which brings a large amount of daylight in the lower deck. Hanse 505 has a large comfortable salon with a functional galley.
