Sun Odyssey 509 is a magnificent 50 ft sailing yacht from the Jeanneau family, presented to the public in 2012. The hull is solid hand-laid fiberglass with ISO gelcoat on the topsides and a protective blister – resistant coat bellow the waterline.
The deck, with discrete sprayhodom and spacious cockpit, contains all the details of the successful Sun Odyssey line. Inside the cockpit there is a change-over wooden table and two large rubber coated steering wheels. The cockpit has five lockers for storage stuff, of which one is specially designed for storage the additional generator. There are no additional winches, so the mainsheet and jib sheets have to share one winch on either side of boat. As helmsman has everything within reach, he can easily trim the sails and follow the navigation without leaving his seat.
The interior of Sun Odyssey 509 is grand and stunning, exudes luxury, elegance and comfort. Due to the abundance of deck and hull windows, natural light and freshness does not missing. The center of interior is dominated by a spacious salon with large wooden table and luxurious U – shaped seats and longitudinal functional galley with all necessary equipment and lots of cabinets.
