Sveta Nedjelja is settlement on the island Hvar, located to the south side under the slopes of the peak St. Nikola. Above the hills of Sveta Nedjelja is a cave that was in the distant history served as a shelter, and Augustinians in the 15th century had built in it a little church and monastery.

Sveta Nedjelja has about 150 inhabitants who are mostly engaged in viticulture, fishing, tourism and the breeding and processing of aromatic plants. Be sure to visit the famous winery Plenković and wine – cellars located below the sea level, renowned manufacturer of autochthonous sort Plavac Mali and taste this superb wine that is known around the world. Front of the restaurant owned by family Plenković is a small marina with connections for electricity and water where you can berth your sailboat, catamaran or yacht and find refreshments in a rustic restaurant Bilo Idro.

In Sveta Nedjelja there are several private apartments, restaurants, cafes and shops, and the nearest large town is Hvar. Around the coast of the Sveta Nedjelja stretches several beautiful beaches and bays that adorn with untouched nature and clear sea. From well-known and attractive bays stands out Jagodna bay and Lučišća bay. Pebble bay Jagodna is situated between Sveta Nedjelja and Ivan Dolac. In the Jagodna bay is a restaurant and campsite.
