The town of Split is situated in Croatian side of Adriatic coast in central Dalmatia region. Split is the second largest city in Croatia, Croatia's second largest port and the third port on the Mediterranean by the number of passengers passing through. It’s also the administrative center of Split-Dalmatia County. The Lora harbor on the north side of the Marjan peninsula is the seat of the Croatian Navy.
