Naxos is the largest island of the Cyclades archipelago, located in the southern Aegean Sea. Naxos is extremely popular Greek destinations because it offers a multitude of accommodation facilities, rich tourist offer, a valuable cultural - historical heritage and beautiful beaches and pleasant climate. Within the city port is located a small marina Naxos, which provides a safe berth and connections for water and electricity supply.

Although has very indented coastline, Naxos is known for several beautiful beaches. The prettiest is certainly a large sandy beach of Plaka, located on the west coast of the island. Other attractive beaches are Agios Georgis, Agios Prokopis and Grotta. Naxos has an airport which connects island with Athens.
