The metropolitan area of Rome extends up to 24 km distant coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea, where the south-western district of Ostia is located. There are two marinas with charter bases for yacht hire, so the Rome is available for tourists who are coming by sea. The main marinas are Marina di Nettuno and Porto Turistico di Roma. Rome has three airports; the main international airport is located on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea, 30 km west of the center of Rome.
