Alicante

Alicante is the eighth largest Spanish city, located on the Costa Blanca, 160 km south of Valencia. The area of today's city has been inhabited for thousands of years, and the city was founded by the Greeks 324 BC. In later years the city was ruled by the Romans, Moors and Aragonians. Alicante is today one of the most popular tourist destinations of Spain, which has everything need for a pleasant stay and a memorable vacation.

The city of Alicante has more than 320 000 inhabitants.
