The city's main attractions are cathedral from the 13th century, a Phoenician necropolis and a statue of Christ high 23 m. The island of Ibiza has six marinas with over 2500 berths.
Ibiza is the habitat of posidonia oceanica, sea grass only grows in parts of Mediterranean that supports a clean sea and diverse coastal ecosystems. The most famous and most beautiful beaches of Ibiza are Talamanca, Figueretas, Playa d'en Bossa and Es Cavallet. 7 km southwest of the city of Ibiza lies the island's international airport.
