Ibiza is the habitat of posidonia oceanica, sea grass only grows in parts of Mediterranean that supports a clean sea and diverse coastal ecosystems. The most famous and most beautiful beaches of Ibiza are Talamanca, Figueretas, Playa d'en Bossa and Es Cavallet. 7 km southwest of the city of Ibiza lies the island's international airport.
