Croatia has around 60 marinas, with a capacity of almost 16,000 sea berths and 8,500 dry berths. The marinas are constantly working to upgrade and enrich their services, and to adapt to the modern needs. Many ports have further enriched their services: from top quality traditional cuisine, water and electricity, health care clinics, to the use of accommodation. Berth prices in marinas
Prices of berths in Croatian marinas are subject to changes depending on the season, length of boat, type of boat, location. In the peak season, from early June to late August, berth prices are the most expensive. Berths are mostly paid per day of rent. For sailing yachts of 10 to 12 m, the price of a daily berth is 60 - 90 €, while for sailing yachts of 14 to 16 m, the price ranges from 90 to 130 €, depending on the season and marina. For catamarans, berth costs are mostly paid by length multiplied by 1.5. The most popular marinas like those in Split, Hvar, Korčula, Trogir or Dubrovnik, and in National Parks of Kornati, Brijuni, are mostly the most expensive by the price of berth.
In addition to daily berths, marinas also offers the possibility of annualy renting of berths. The annual price for sailing yachts of 10 to 12 m is between 3000 - 6000 €, while for larger yachts form 14 to 16 m the price can reach up to 8500 €.
On smaller island places and harbors, berth prices are considerably lower than in large marinas on the coast, ranging from 4 to 7 € per meter of boat. Some places provide electricity and water, while other provides just tying on the buoy to better organize the crowds in their small ports. There are many island restaurants that offers a free berth for yachts when having lunch or dinner there.
