City Port Crikvenica is a public transport port of great importance for the county traffic. Area port consists of 2,853 m2 of coastal land part and 52,585 m2 of port aquatorium. Port Crikvenica consists of the Vela and Mala palada. Vela palada is the protective breakwater, and Mala palada includes protective jetty and coast for boats.
The port area of Crikvenica is divided into communal, operational and nautical part. The port is equipped with berths, port light, ramp for ferries, web camera, electricity and water connection. Near the port is a station for the supplying small vessels and boats with fuel. Port Crikvenica disposes with 24 berths in nautical part.
The port is protected from all winds, except the western and northwestern winds that cause confused sea. Bora from the north blows in gusts and is strongest by the head of the breakwater.
