DAY 1: From town of Biograd to villages Kali or Preko on island Ugljan

Biograd is a Dalmatian town located 30 kilometers south of town of Zadar. The former crown city of Croatian kings, Biograd is today one of the most popular tourist destinations and nautical centers in central Dalmatia. On the coast of Biograd there are two well-known marinas, marina Kornati and marina Šangulin. If you haven’t book a boat yet, do it through our offer of boats for charter or visit our websites of marina Kornati or marina Šangulin where you’ll find all the important informations about marinas and yacht charter offer. Around 17:00 pm you can sail out from the marina. Since it’ll be quite late, for the first destination on your route we suggest the villages Kali or Preko on island Ugljan.

Kali is a village on the east coast of the island of Ugljan, opposite the city of Zadar, the largest settlement on the islands of the Zadar archipelago. The first written mention of the Kali dates from 1299, but the history of the village dates back to ancient times. Kali is now a developed tourist resort with a centuries-old tradition of fishing. Kali is adorned with picturesque stone houses and streets and valuable cultural heritage. Kali has several restaurants and cafes, shops, and post office. You can moor in Kali port or in the southern harbor in the bay Batalaža.

Preko is settlement on the eastern side of the island of Ugljan, 3 nm from the city of Zadar. It is traffic and administrative center of the island Ugljan with the old parts of typical Dalmatian architecture and numerous beaches such as the famous sandy beach Jaz. In the center of Preko is a marina with 85 berths. In Preko, there are several restaurants and taverns with traditional Dalmatian dishes and wines. After overnight in Kali or Preko sail away to islands Rivanj or Sestrunj.

DAY 2: From villages Kali or Preko - islands Rivanj or Sestrunj - village Božava on island of Dugi otok

Rivanj is a small island located between island Sestrunj and island Ugljan, 12 nautical miles from the Preko. Rivanj is suitable for those who looks for complete peace, away from the crowds and bustle. The island has no shops, restaurants or cafes. It has ideal conditions for sailing, windsurfing and other water sports. After a break on this peaceful island, next stop is the nearby island Sestrunj.

Sestrunj is a small island located in the Zadar archipelago, between the islands of Molat, Rivanj, Tuna and Iž. Island Sestrunj with its 15 km2 and a rugged coastline with three deep bays, is a real oasis of peace and tranquility. On the Sestrunj there are two restaurants, taverns and shops. Bays Hrvatin or Travnik are ideal for swimming anchoring. After a break on islands Rivanj or Sestrunj, next stop is village Božava on island of Dugi otok.

Božava is a small village on the north coast of island Dugi otok. Although a relatively small village with about 120 inhabitants, Božava, thanks to the hotel complex and catering offer in it, is the most developed tourist resort on the island. The village has a bakery and two shops. In Božava there is a small port for boats equipped with connections for water and electricity. After a night in Božava, in the morning should start sailing towards the Veli Rat.

DAY 3: From Božava - village Veli Rat on island of Dugi otok - beach Sakarun

Veli Rat is small village and harbor on northernmost part of the island of Dugi otok, located in the Čuna bay. The first written mention of Veli Rat dates back to the 14th century, but the area has been inhabited since Roman times. Veli Rat has about 60 inhabitants who mostly deal with agriculture, fishing and tourism. Symbol of Veli Rat is a lighthouse Punta Bjanka, the highest lighthouse in the Adriatic, built in 1849. At the foot of the lighthouse lies a beautiful rocky beach Lanterna. Veli Rat has a marina, marina Baotić, with 200 berths, within which there is a restaurant and shop. After a rest and dining in Veli Rat, set sails to the beach Sakarun.

Sakarun is a long sandy beach, located on the northwest side of island of Dugi Otok, near the village Veli Rat. Beach Sakarun is one of the most popular on the island rich in beautiful and hidden bays. On the beach there are two restaurants that offer summer refreshments and snacks. On this magical beach you can moor on the set buoys. After overnight in Sakarun bay, head to the Telašćica bay.

DAY 4: From beach Sakarun to the Telašćica bay

Telašćica bay, by which the whole nature park is named, is located on the southeastern part of the island of Dugi otok and is one of the safest, most beautiful and largest natural harbors in the Adriatic. Nature Park Telašćica features three basic phenomena: Telašćica bay, cliffs or so-called ‘stene’ of Dugi Otok which rise to 200 m above the sea, and a medicinal salt lake Mir. In the Telašćice there are several restaurants where you can enjoy in traditional local specialties. Anchoring and overnight stay on boats is allowed in bays in the park. In the morning sail away to the island Katina.

DAY 5: From Telašćica bay - island Katina - island Žut

Katina is uninhabited picturesque islet located at the entrance to the bay Telašćica, between island of Dugi Otok and the island of Kornat. On the south side of the island is Vela Proversa bay where is situated the famous restaurant Mare. In front of the restaurant is a mole on which you can moor you boat and go on an afternoon lunch. After the break and lunch make a trip to the island of Žut.

Žut is the second largest island in the Kornati archipelago, situated between island of Pašman and Kornat. The island is covered with olive trees, fig trees and grape vines which are grown mainly by inhabitants from the island Murter. Žut is adorned by numerous picturesque bays which are suitable and safe for anchoring. On the island there are several taverns and restaurants. On the north coast of the island is ACI marina Žut, with capacity of 135 berths. After overnight on island Žut, sail towards island of Vrgada.

DAY 6: From island Žut - island Vrgada - village Murter on island of Murter

Vrgada is an island located south of the island of Pašman, in the waters of the municipality of Pakoštane. The pebbly and sand beaches of the island Vrgada with thick pine forest and Mediterranean plants are suitable for a quiet vacation away from the city noise. Older population of Vrgada is mainly engaged in agriculture and cattle breeding, while the younger population deals with tourism industry. The island has a couple of restaurants and taverns where you can find refreshment. After the break on Vrgada, afternoon sail away to island of Murter and village Murter.

On the northwest side of the island of Murter lies homonymous settlement, Murter, the largest place on the island. The village of Murter is located in the bay Hramina, which provides protection from strong winds. Murter is a place with a rich tourist offer, valuable cultural and religious heritage and beautiful beaches. There is a multitude of restaurants, cafes, shops, currency exchange, and so on. In the bay is situated and the beautiful marina Hramina, capacity of 400 berths with conections for electricity and water. After a night on Murter, in the morning sail towards the town of Biograd.

DAY 7: From village Murter to town of Biograd

Upon returning to Biograd use your time for swimming, sightseeing or dining at one of the Biograd restaurants. Biograd is adorned with several beautiful beaches located near the city center, the most famous are Soline and Dražica. During the summer in Biograd are held many cultural and entertainment events that attract large numbers of tourists.
